NASHVILLE, Tenn. (WTVF) — A teenager suspected of killing his father in Antioch last week has surrendered to police.
Officials say Anthony Rivera, 19, surrendered Saturday afternoon. He is charged with shooting and killing his father, Henry Rivera, at the family's Anderson Road home on Wednesday.
Witnesses told police Rivera shot his father during an argument, when accused of stealing money from his mother. Henry died shortly after arriving at Vanderbilt University Medical Center.
In addition to homicide, Rivera is charged with armed robbery of the Carniceria Dominguez store on Murfreesboro Pike last Tuesday.
