CLARKSVILLE, Tenn. (WTVF) — A teenager has been arrested in connection with a deadly shooting that took place in the 4000 block of McGregor Road on Friday.
Around 6:18 p.m. the suspect, Matias Dudley aka "Tez", 18, was in the passenger's seat of a vehicle when the victim approached. According to police, this is when Dudley opened fire.
The victim attempted to flee but Dudley then exited the vehicle and pursued the victim on foot, firing multiple rounds at the victim and ultimately killing him.
Witnesses were able to help investigators determine a suspect and possible locations where the suspect may have been residing after the shooting.
Dudley was then later taken into custody around 2 a.m. on Saturday morning.
Currently, Dudley is being held without bond.
