Teenager left fatally wounded at door of General Hospital Friday evening

NASHVILLE, Tenn. (WTVF) — A teenager was left fatally wounded at the door of General Hospital Friday evening. Metro police are requesting information on the murder.

According to MNPD, 18-year-old Steven Shelton was left shot at General Hospital around 5:40 p.m.

A man who was driving a white Hyundai Tucson was seen on surveillance footage carrying Shelton from his car to the hospital door. Afterwards, he drove away.

Detectives say they've determined Shelton was shot inside the Tucson at the Cumberland View public housing area.

This investigation is ongoing.
