Teenager shot at Shelbyville apartment complex; 'armed and dangerous' suspect sought

NASHVILLE, Tenn. (WTVF) — Police have asked the public's help in locating a suspect in connection with a teenager's shooting in Shelbyville.

The incident was reported at about 2 a.m. at an apartment complex on Neely Avenue.

According to detectives, the 17-year-old victim was flown to a hospital in Nashville for treatment.

Police said the suspect, Jamichael Richardson, was last seen driving a white Toyota Avalon. He should be considered armed and dangerous.
