Tenn. Man Catches Possible World Record Black Crappie

A Tennessee man has caught a world record black crappie, pending DNA testing.

The Tennessee Wildlife Resources Agency posted the photo on social media.

If confirmed, Lionel "Jam" Ferguson crushed the old state record from 1985 of 4 pounds 4 ounces.

Ferguson’s fish weighed in at 5 pounds 7.68 ounces.

The old world record of 5 ounces was set in 2006.
