TENNESSEE RIDGE, Tenn. (WTVF) — Tennessee Ridge Judge Woodrow Adams was accused of raping a child.
Stewart County deputies picked 70-year-old Adams up on a warrant out of Dickson County. He was charged with three counts of rape of a child.
Adams has served as a city in Tennessee Ridge for more than two decades.
Mayor Stony Odom told NewsChannel 5 the entire city is in shock and disbelief over the allegations.
Adams was booked into the Dickson County jail on a $150,000 bond.
