Tennessee Titans food drop collects food for Middle Tennesseans in need

NASHVILLE, Tenn. (WTVF) — The Tennessee Titans joined forces with the Second Harvest Food Bank in an effort to end hunger in Middle Tennessee.

You can give to the Tennessee Titans food drop at Nissan Stadium Friday and Sunday. It's part of Kroger's Zero Hunger Zero Waste initiative. Kroger volunteers will be collecting the donations on Friday.

The most-needed food items include peanut butter, canned meat, canned fruits and vegetables, pasta and cereal.

You can drop items off Friday from 6 a.m. - 6:30 p.m. and Sunday, Oct. 20 from 9:30 a.m. to noon - (Lot C on Friday, gates around stadium on Sunday).

Everything collected will go to Second Harvest Food Bank of Middle Tennessee to help feed people who are dealing with tough times.
