The opposing parties of the Granny White Market, also known as The Purple Cow have reached a compromise, and will not be moving.
The dispute reached an end in late December. A statement released Thursday said the market’s current tenant, Dan Smith would not be evicted.
Originally, Smith was supposed to be out back in October, but pushback from hundreds of longtime customers and market supporters delayed the eviction.
The statement said Smith would be allowed to stay on the premises through the end of April, when a new tenant will take over the business.
