CLARKSVILLE, Tenn. (WTVF) — Clarksville Police say thieves are targeting renovation and construction sites.
Officials say several burglaries at build sites have recently been reported. Burglars have reportedly forced their way into the building or home to steal tools and equipment.
The thefts are recognized when the contractor or builder returns the next day.
Clarksville officials say the thefts are not isolated in a specific area, but have happened in different locations throughout the city. They asked anyone who may have information on the crime or who may see suspicious activity to call police.
