Thousands descended on Public Square Park for the annual Nashville Soul Music Festival.
On Saturday, crowds lined up early to see their favorite Funk and R&B singers perform on stage.
Throughout the night, attendees sang and danced to performances from High Five, En Vogue, the Ying Tang Twins, Cameo, and more.
Organizers said it was a successful event for all to participate in.
"A lot of times certain people of the community don't really get a chance to come downtown and really enjoy our downtown that we pay taxes with. It's a blessing... Nashville is considered a country music town, so it's just great that we are offering more urban music and people coming downtown and having a blast," event coordinator John Smith said.
Smith said the next big event will be the 5th Annual Old School BBQ at Riverfront Plaza on September 2.
