NASHVILLE, Tenn. - Thousands of fans packed LP Field for the final night of the CMA Music Fest.

An estimated 80,000 people have visited Music City every day of the festival.

Many of those were closing out the weekend in a big way.

Darius Rucker took a break from his summer tour schedule to perform Sunday night.

He had been on the road with Brett Eldredge, who performed at LP Field Saturday night, and A Thousand Horses.

Before the show, Darius told reporters country music was his dream job ever since he was a little boy.

"I got lucky as a kid,” Darius said. “I couldn't be standing here and doing this if I hadn't found Kenny Rogers and Hee Haw and stuff like that. It shaped me as a person because all I ever wanted to do was sing. That's all I ever wanted to do and after hearing Radney Foster and deciding I wanted to sing country music someday. To be here I still can't believe it the last eight years of my life. I just didn't expect this. Who gets another career? It's truly unbelievable."

Others who took to big stage Sunday night included Neal McCoy, Cole Swindell, Eric Church, Keith Urban, and Brad Paisley.

Brad was scheduled to stay in town for a few days. He has been set to open for the Rolling Stones at LP Field Wednesday.
