One person was killed in a three-vehicle crash involving a Tennessee Highway Patrol unit in Marion County.
The crash happened at approx. 3:13 p.m. near Chattanooga. It involved two SUVs and a motorcyclist - one of which is a THP unit.
The motorcyclist died, but no one else was injured.
The road was closed for several hours. Officials advised drivers to take alternate routes - Exit 155 to Dunlap to hwy 111 south to hwy 27 south into Chattanooga.
