Three arrested in Hendersonville after license plate cameras notice stolen plate

HENDERSONVILLE, Tenn. (WTVF) — Two men and a woman were arrested in Hendersonville after they were found driving a stolen vehicle.

According to Hendersonville police, they were informed a stolen vehicle had entered the city when a license plate recognition camera spotted the stolen plate.

Officers set up in the area and found the vehicle, a 2004 Ford Expedition. They stopped the vehicle and confirmed the stolen license number. The Expedition was stolen from a local car dealership in Robertson County.

During their search of the vehicle, officers say they found another stolen license plate inside. They also found assorted drug paraphernalia.

The vehicle's three occupants were all arrested and charged with theft of property over $2,500. They are David Whitaker, 30; Randall Bowman, 37 and Tuesday Dwyer, 26.
