HENDERSONVILLE, Tenn. (WTVF) — Authorities say three suspects have been charged with murder in connection with a deadly shooting in Hendersonville.
Hendersonville police say the shooting happened at 4:30 p.m. Monday in the parking lot of the Dodge’s Fried Chicken gas station on West Main Street.
The victim, identified as 22-year-old Dorian Banks, of Gallatin, was shot and taken to Hendersonville Medical Center, where he died as a result of his injuries.
Investigators say the shooting stemmed from an apparent drug deal.
Three suspects – identified as 22-year-old Keion Hayes, 20-year-old Monterrious Moore and 19-year-old Thomas Watson, all of Murfreesboro – have been charged with first-degree murder and aggravated robbery. Hayes faces an additional charge of possession of a weapon during commission of a felony.
Moore and Watson were booked into in the Sumner County Jail, while Hayes is currently being held in the Rutherford County Jail on unrelated charges.
