Three teens were arrested after officers spotted them in a stolen car.
The arrests were made early Thursday morning after officials saw a car that matched the description of a stolen 2012 Chevrolet Malibu. The Malibu had allegedly been involved in two separate robberies overnight.
Reports stated the teens were sitting inside the parked vehicle in the 500 block of Paragon Mills Road at the Canterbury Hall Condominiums.
Authorities approached them and noticed the car was filled with marijuana smoke. A semi-automatic handgun was also in plain view.
Police ordered the teens to get out of the car, and they complied.
According to reports, 18-year-old Chantavis Pillow, 18-year-old Demico Smith, and a 15-year-old were taken into custody.
Both Pillow and Smith have been charged with possession of a handgun while under the influence, theft of a motor vehicle, drug possession, criminal trespassing, and contributing to the delinquency of a minor.
The two were being held in lieu of a $34,500 bond each.
Authorities said the 15-year-old was being charged in Juvenile Court.
The investigation remained ongoing.
