NASHVILLE, Tenn. – Police arrested three serial robbery suspects believed to be involved in a string of robberies.
Police arrested and charged 19-year-old Jamie Brandon, his brother 17-year-old Zackery Brandon, and 19-year-old Cavelle Rondo in at least four separate robberies over the past week.
Police said they were behind two robberies at markets early Saturday morning; one at the Mystic Express on Nolensville Pike and the Shell on Gallatin Pike. A clerk at the Shell was shot, and suffered non-life threatening injuries.
Rondo and Jamie Brandon were also allegedly involved in a double-robbery last Friday at the Subway on Donelson Pike, which was then followed by the hold-up of the Shell across the street where one of the suspects shot a clerk in the leg.
Jamie and Zackery Brandon were taken into custody this Tuesday afternoon.
Photos of the three suspects were withheld pending lineups in other commercial robberies countywide.
Police said Rondo had apparently shot himself in the leg shortly after the Shell robbery Saturday, but will be arrested upon his release from the hospital.
