NASHVILLE, Tenn. – Three men, who worked at the Corrections Corporation of America facility on Harding Place have been charged with official misconduct and inmate labor violations.
Robert Hill, Stephen Binkley and Roy Napper were all charged and accused of misusing inmate labor.
The three men taught wood working classes at the jail on Harding Place, which was operated by Corrections Corporation of America.
An investigation revealed that the trio also owned a wood working business called Stand Firm Design.
Authorities found that items made in the classes by inmates were taken to local flea markets and sold.
Investigators said the three "teachers" kept the profits for themselves.
