Torch Lit For Special Olympics Tennessee Summer Games

The torch has been lit, so let the games begin! The 2018 Special Olympics Tennessee Summer Games began with its annual Law Enforcement Torch Run.

Police from all different agencies across Tennessee came together Friday to support this tradition that's been going on a little more than 20 years.

Officers said they look forward to the event every year.

Athletes will compete is six sports. The competition will begin at Lipscomb University at 8:30 a.m. Saturday.
