MT. JULIET, Tenn. – Traffic has resumed flowing after a rollover crash caused a delay for drivers along Interstate 40 East in Wilson County.
The incident was reported around 10:20 a.m. Monday, at mile marker 222 near Mt. Juliet.
Officials with the Mt. Juliet Police Department said a pick-truck towing an overloaded, heavy trailer fishtailed, causing the driver to lose control of the vehicle.
Multiple agencies responded to the scene.
The roadway was reduced to one lane as officials directed motorists around the wreck. The roadway has since reopened.
Police said minor injuries were reported in the wreck.
No additional details were known.
