Train collides with cement truck in Nashville

NASHVILLE, Tenn. (WTVF) — A cement truck rolled over after colliding with a train in the Scottsboro area of Nashville.

The driver was pinned and had to be rescued from the truck by Nashville firefighters. The driver suffered injuries that were not life threatening.

Some concreted spilled out onto the road at the intersection of Amy Lynn Drive and Ashland City Highway. There are not any level crossings or railroad crossing lights at the intersection.

No traffic delays are anticipated from the crash.

A witness on scene caught video as firefighters worked to rescue the driver.
