The northbound lanes of I-65 in Giles County were shut down for a few hours after storms passed through the area and multiple trees fell on the road.
It happened at mile marker 11 just after 4 p.m. The road was reopened around 7 p.m.
Northbound traffic was diverted to alternate routes.
