NASHVILLE, Tenn. (WTVF) — Trevecca Nazarene University is joining colleges across the nation who will end their Fall 2020 semester at Thanksgiving break due to the pandemic.
The university said the semester will start earlier than planned on Monday, August 17. Students were not originally expected back on campus for classes until August 31.
"Our intention is to offer our students the residential college experience. That’s our desire, and we know it’s our students’ hope, too. But we’ll also be ready to pivot to online instruction if the virus forces us to do so. Every class is being designed for in-person instruction as well as online delivery," University Provost Tom Middendorf said.
This upcoming semester, there will be no fall break and the semester will end on Tuesday, November 24.
