A tribute, the "Biggest Hony Tonk on Broadway," has been set for the legendary Merle Haggard.
The Bridgestone Arena show titled "Sing Me Back Home: The Music Of Merle Haggard" will not only mark what would've been the singer's 80th birthday but also the one year anniversary of his death.
So far, nearly 20 artists are slated to perform including Dierks Bentley.
"I had a chance to get to meet him a few times and be around him and his family and uh, be in the back of his bus one time which is pretty funny stories but uh so it's just it's really, i feel honored to be a chance to be a part of that show, big deal," said Bentley.
You can catch the Merle Haggard tribute concert April 6 at Bridgestone Arena. Tickets benefiting the TJ Martell Foundation go on sale Friday at 11 a.m.
