CLARKSVILLE, Tenn. (WTVF) — A red truck smashed into the lobby of a Clarksville bank when the driver mistook the break pedal for the gas pedal.
Police said the 66-year-old man was trying to park his pickup truck at F&M Bank on Madison Street when the vehicle went crashing inside the bank before coming to a stop.
Fortunately, none of the employees or customers inside were hurt.
Police said the driver has only owned the truck for five days.
The bank sustained extensive damage, however, the driver will not be charged.
