PEGRAM, Tenn. (WTVF) — A truck hauling trash overturned on Highway 70 in Cheatham County, causing a huge mess on the side of the road.
The incident happened Friday morning in Pegram. EMA Director Edwin Hogan confirmed that Highway 70 is closed at Sam Creek Road.
A photo from the scene showed piles of garbage scattered along the roadside and into a creek.
One minor injury was reported.
It’s unclear what caused the truck to overturn or how long it would take to clean up.
