NASHVILLE, Tenn. – Those with the Transportation Security Administration conducted a refresher course on what is and isn't allowed on board an aircraft when traveling.
The class was given by the TSA at Nashville International Airport Thursday.
“Passengers can really help us especially around those busy weekends by checking their bags before they come to the airport,” said Mark Howell, TSA Regional Spokesperson. “As you can imagine, if we have to stop and check every bag for prohibited items that’s going to slow the process down for everybody, so do a quick five minute check before you come to the airport. You’re really going to save yourself and everybody else time as they’re traveling during Labor Day.”
TSA officials said they see the most problems with new travelers, so they have advised all passengers to take a look at what they have in their bags before they even get to the airport.
