TSA Pre-Check celebrated enrolling 2 million travelers at Nashville International Airport.
It's been two years since the program originally launched in Indianapolis.
The expedited screening program allows low-risk travelers to get through TSA security checks much faster by leaving on their shoes, belts, sweaters, and leaving laptops in their cases.
“So as people are moving through those lines slower, the demand and the reason why you'd want pre-check increases. So you're gonna go through the line, even if the line's long. The screening process is a lot faster,” said Charles Carroll.
The process to enroll is simple. Just fill out a form online then go to the Airport Enrollment Center to complete the process.
It costs $85 for five years. A total of 24,000 people have enrolled in TSA Pre-Check since it began being offered at Nashville International.
