Tennessee State University has a named a new police chief on campus.
Gregory Robinson was made the new chief Monday morning. He had been at Vanderbilt University, where he was in charge of the entire police operations on the main campus that included nearly 100 police and security officers.
However Robinson graduated from TSU, and will be coming back to his alma mater.
Robinson's appointment came as TSU continued to implement its 10 Point safety plan following a shooting in which three students were injured.
