A Tullahoma man was arrested and charged with the homicide of a 4-year-old child.
The child was transported to the hospital by a personal vehicle Wednesday, June 28. Officials said child’s body showed some signs of trauma, but details surrounding the incident were not released.
Once at the hospital, Tennova-Harton Healthcare officials called Tullahoma Police officers to the emergency room, where the child later died.
Officers arrested Anderson of Tullahoma Thursday and charged him with criminal homicide, aggravated child abuse, failure to report child abuse and unlawful possession of a weapon.
Anderson was held in the Coffee County Jail on a $575,000.00 bond and was initially scheduled to appear in Coffee County General Sessions Court on Thursday, July 6.
