Two arrested, drugs confiscated while police serve warrant

LEBANON, Tenn. (WTVF) — Lebanon Police officers arrested two people while serving a warrant. One of them was found hiding in a closet.

Officers were serving a violation of probation warrant on 37-year-old Chasity Knight.

When they got to the home on the 200 block of Sloan Street, they were let inside by one of the residents.

Officers found Knight hiding in a bedroom closet. They also found 41-year-old Thurston Drummond next to a bed trying to hide an object in the mattress.

They seized more than one and a half ounces of methamphetamine, a 9mm firearm, cash, and other narcotics and paraphernalia from the home.

Both Knight and Drummond were transported to the Wilson County Jail. Knight was served the VOP warrant and Drummond was served with multiple counts of drugs, guns, and paraphernalia charges.
