LEWIS COUNTY, Tenn. (WTVF) — Two children have died after a crash Monday morning in Lewis County.
According to Tennessee Highway Patrol, the truck was going northbound on Big Swan Creek Road when it went off the road.
The driver then over corrected sending the truck off the left side of the road where it hit a tree.
Troopers says the only vehicle involved was a 2004 Chevrolet Silverado. The driver of the truck was taken to the hospital for their injuries.
The children, aged 11 and 15, were killed in the accident.
THP is investigating the crash. An alcohol and drug test has been requested.
