NASHVILLE, Tenn. (WTVF) — A man was killed and a woman was injured in a shooting in Hermitage Tuesday night.

Metro Police say Corvell Huddleston, 21, and a woman pulled up to his relative's Brooke Valley Drive home in her car around 8:45 p.m. Tuesday when two people came up to them.

The woman told police they started shouting a robbery demand before opening fire.

Huddleston died at Vanderbilt University Medical Center from a gunshot wound to the chest. The woman also suffered a non-critical gunshot wound to her arm.

Metro Police say Huddleston was wanted on outstanding warrants for home burglary and aggravated burglary. He was serving a three year community corrections sentence for aggravated assault and making a false report to police in 2018.

Metro Police did not release any further description of the robbers. They ask anyone with information call police or Crimestoppers at 615-742-7463.
