Two injured in Lewisburg shooting

LEWISBURG, Tenn. (WTVF) — Two people were injured in a shooting in Lewisburg Tuesday.

Lewisburg Police officers responded to a report of the shooting in the parking lot of the Marshall County Plaza around 1 p.m.

Officers found two victims, Javarria Rucker of Lewisburg was flown to a Huntsville hospital for treatment. The second person, Trevin Pig, was seen running from the scene following the shooting, but was found with the help of Marshall County Sheriff's deputies was found at his home on Skyline Drive.

Police say a witness identified Pigg as the shooter. He surrendered to officers without incident and was transported to Vanderbilt University Medical Center.

This investigation is still ongoing.
