NASHVILLE, Tenn. — Two people are dead after a car wreck early Saturday morning.
Metro police say Yogiraj Khandelwal, 28, and Lakshmi Kondepudi, 26, were killed when their Ford Mustang ran off the road on Edmondson Pike near Nippers Corner around 5 a.m.
Both were wearing seatbelts. Metro police did not say how the car wound up going off the side of the road. There was no evidence of drugs or alcohol at the scene of the crash.
