NASHVILLE, Tenn. (WTVF) — Metro Nashville Police officers arrested two convicted felons on drug and gun charges.
Police officials say the arrests were the result of a months-long investigation in drug deals at a home on the 300 block of Tampa Drive in Nashville.
Rodney Wells Jr., 41, who has past felony cocaine and marijuana convictions, was charged with possession of heroin for resale, possession of marijuana for resale, manufacturing marijuana wax & oil, and gun possession in the commission of a drug felony.
Michael Mimms, 35, who has past aggravated robbery convictions, was charged with two misdemeanor drug counts and unlawful gun possession by a convicted felon.
Undercover detectives found 24 grams of heroin, a half-pound of marijuana, a small amount of cocaine, four guns and $2,255 cash during while searching the home.
