MURFREESBORO, Tenn. (WTVF) — After leading police on a foot chase, two Murfreesboro men have been arrested for breaking into and vandalizing a church van Tuesday, Murfreesboro police said.

Officers responded to reports of suspicious activity at the Saint Marks United Methodist Church on North Rutherford Boulevard.

When officers arrived, they saw two men running away from the area.

After chasing the men, both of them were arrested.

Accused of pouring cleaning material inside of a van at the church and rolling paper towels around it, Skylar Miller, 20, and Toby Bramlett, 18, are facing charges of theft from a motor vehicle, vandalism and evading arrest.

Miller is jailed at the Rutherford County Adult Detention Center on a bond of $19,500.

Bramlett was released on a $6,500 bond.
