MURFREESBORO, Tenn. (WTVF) — Two Murfreesboro police officers were injured Friday afternoon by a man with a box cutter.
The incident happened at an apartment complex on Indian Park Dr.
According to police, 21-year-old Justin Gordon was threatening to take his own life when the incident happened.

The officers were taken to the hospital with non-life threatening injuries.
Gordon is charged with two counts of attempted murder.
He is being held in the Rutherford County Adult Detention Center on a $500,000 bond.
