Two people were taken to an area hospital with life-threatening injuries after a crash in north Nashville.
The incident happened around 1:30 a.m. Monday on Interstate 24 West near the I-65 split in the Trinity Hills area of town.
Metro Nashville Police officers said the driver was heading south on I-65 and lost control when getting on I-24 west.
The car went down an embankment.
The driver and his passenger were both taken to hospitals with life-threatening injuries.
The roads were slick at the time due to rain, but police have not said if that contributed to the crash.
