SPRING HILL, Tenn. (WTVF) — Two suspects have been arrested and another is sought following an early Saturday morning pursuit by Spring Hill police (SHPD).
SHPD says officers received a call from a homeowner on Trout Lane over a car alarm that had been set off and one of its doors being opened. The homeowner reported seeing several people running down the road.
Shortly afterwards, another officer saw a vehicle going north on Main Street at a high speed.
Officers tried to stop that vehicle; however it continued on Main Street outside of the city.
SHPD stopped their pursuit at Interstate 840.
The Williamson County Sheriff's Office (WCSO) found a crashed car with nobody inside in the Highway 431 and I-840 area. They learned that car was stolen out of Davidson County. There was also a stolen handgun inside of the vehicle.
Later, a 19-year-old and 15-year-old from Nashville were found by WCSO walking on I-840. It was determined they were inside of the crashed, stolen vehicle. They were arrested on charges of burglary, aggravated burglary and theft of property.
One other suspect has not yet been arrested.
SHPD asks anyone who has home surveillance footage in the Autumn Ridge subdivision to check it between midnight and 1:15 a.m. Saturday. Anybody with information on this case can submit an anonymous tip here.
