LA VERGNE, Tenn. (WTVF) — Three teenagers are in custody following their robbery of a woman's car Friday morning, La Vergne police said.

The victim went out to start her car on Bill Stewart Blvd. She noticed two teenagers acting suspiciously before going back inside.

When she went back outside around 8:15, the suspects were in her car.

She ran to the window to try to get them out of the car, when one of them pulled a handgun and pointed it at her. They drove away in her gray Honda Pilot.

Officers found the car around 9:30 on East Nir Shreibman. The driver drove away from police, leading them on a chase before crashing into another car at the intersection of Waldron Road and Murfreesboro Road.

Three occupants got out of the stolen car and ran away, but were all quickly taken into custody.
