LA VERGNE, Tenn. (WTVF) — One person was airlifted to an area hospital after a wreck involving two tractor trailers in La Vergne.
The crash happened at 7 a.m. Wednesday on Bridgestone Parkway.
La Vergne police said the crash occurred when one of the semis left the road way and over corrected, which caused it to crash into the other.

It took firefighters 45 minutes to extricate one of the drivers from the truck.
The road will be closed for several hours.
