ASHLAND CITY, Tenn. (WTVF) — Authorities say two suspects are wanted in connection with an overdose death in Cheatham County.

Cheatham County Sheriff Mike Breedlove says 25-year-old James Keith Orange and 24-year-old Chelsea Hardin are wanted on charges of second-degree murder. Investigators say they are linked to an opioid overdose death.

Anyone with information about their location should call the Cheatham County Sheriff’s Office.

Breedlove also issued a stern warning to help stop the flow of illegal drugs in his county. He says alleged dealers will be charged not only with selling the drugs, but if someone dies from using their product, they’ll be charged with homicide, as well.

“If you come to Cheatham County, Tennessee, sell to citizens and they die from what you provide them, we will prosecute you for their deaths. Stay out of Cheatham. Please, because we are fed up with your poison," he said.
