NASHVILLE, Tenn. (WTVF) — Police say a shooting victim was taken to an area hospital after an Uber driver found him lying in the road.
The incident happened early Wednesday morning on Lafayette Street near Fairfield Avenue.

Metro Police say the victim told them he was walking down the street, heard a gunshot and realized he'd been hit in the ankle. The Uber driver found him and called 911.
The victim was taken to an area hospital. A description of the suspect wasn't yet known.
