NASHVILLE, Tenn. (WTVF) — Two teens have been arrested after one of them had a weapon while on probation for gun possession.
According to police, when they arrived at the teen's residence in Nashville, he threw a loaded .38 caliber pistol to the ground and fled on foot. The teen then got into a vehicle driven by the second teen.
The driver was apprehended and the first teen surrendered himself several hours later.
Police recovered a small amount of marijuana, a digital scale and a loaded AR-15 rifle.
Both teens are charged in juvenile court. The first teen is charged with evading arrest and unlawful handgun possession. The driver is charged with marijuana, reckless driving, unlawful possession of drug paraphernalia and felony weapon possession.
