Units Damaged In Nashville Apartment Fire

At least three units were damaged after fire broke out at an apartment complex in Nashville. 

The incident was reported around 10:30 a.m. Tuesday at an apartment complex located at 860 Murfreesboro Pike. 

Nashville Fire Department crews arrived on the scene and were able to put out the blaze.

Officials said at least three units were badly damaged in the fire. At least 16 units were evacuated. 

It’s unclear how many residents were affected.

One person was taken to an area hospital for smoke inhalation. A dog, who was trapped in one of the units, did not survive. 

The cause of the fire was not known.
