WASHINGTON, (WTVF) — US Foods is recalling 712 pounds of raw beef and pork products that were shipped to restaurants in Alabama, Georgia, Mississippi, and Tennessee.
The U.S. Department of Agriculture's Food Safety and Inspection Service says the food was possibly contaminated when an employee cut himself while handling the food.
All of the recalled items were produced July 18. Recalled brands include Stock Yards Angus, Cattleman's Selection, Patuxent Farms and SRA.
The recalled meat will have the establishment number "EST. 21103" inside the USDA mark of inspection.
There have not been any confirmed reports of reactions or illness due related to the meat.
FSIS says they're concerned that some of the products are already sitting in restaurant freezers and are urging owners not to serve them.
If you have questions about the recall or are afraid you've come in contact with the recalled meat, you can call the toll-free USDA Meat and Poultry Hotline at 1-888-MPHotline
