UNION CITY, Tenn. (WTVF) — An investigation has gotten underway in West Tennessee after a student at UT Martin was found stabbed to death inside a home in Obion County.
The Obion County Sheriff's Office said deputies were called to a home where a man covered in blood answered the door. He had apparently suffered several stab wounds.
In another room, they found the body of 20-year-old Decora Alexander. She had been fatally stabbed.
Alexander was a UT Martin student and a member of the dance team for the Skyhawks basketball team.
The other person stabbed was recovering at a hospital in stable condition. He'll now be questioned about what happened inside the home.
At this point, detectives have not said if they are looking for a suspect. No charges have been filed at this time.
