CLARKSVILLE, Tenn. – Clarksville police say Stokes Field has been the target of vandalism and multiple burglaries over the past two weeks and say the same suspects are to blame. Stokes Field is home to the Northwest Little League games.

Officers have been called to the field four times since June 18th when the suspects attempted to break into a storage shed using a blow torch.

The next incident on June 21st police say the suspects pried off a window from the concession stand using a tire iron and stole so much food that they will face felony charges. They were called back a week later after vandalism was found.

The latest incident occurred early Tuesday morning when the suspects broke into the concession stand by making a hole in the floor.

When officers arrived just before 4 a.m. they saw three young suspects running away. Candy, Gatorade, and an Easton baseball bag were taken. The bag was later recovered.

A $100 reward has been offered by the Northwest Little League for information leading to the arrest or conviction of any suspects.

Police released a picture of what they call an “unique pair of Converse tennis shoes” believed worn by one of the suspects. They are hoping someone will know who the belong too.
