OMAHA, Neb. – The Vanderbilt baseball team will get a second chance Wednesday to bring home another national championship.

Tuesday night they failed to claim the title after losing to Virginia 3-0 in Game 2 in a best of 3 championship series. The two teams are now tied 1-1.

Vanderbilt is the defending College World Series champion. They are just one win away from bringing home back-to-back titles.

A year ago the Commodores eliminated Virginia in the best-of-three final, and the two are squaring off in this year's final as well.

Wednesday's game will be played in Omaha, Nebraska and is scheduled to start at 7 p.m.
