Vandy Students Arrested In Drug Bust

Officers with the Metro Nashville Police Department have arrested two alleged drug dealers on the campus of Vanderbilt University.

It came after a 3-week investigation by Metro Police.

Vandy Police tipped them off that a student may be dealing drugs from his dorm room in Carmichael Towers East.

During a search of that student's room, officers seized 100 pills, cocaine, and more than $3 thousand dollars cash.

They arrested 22-year old Edward Letzer and 18-year old Tyler Igoe.

Letzer was charged with selling cocaine and possessing cocaine for resale. Igoe was charged with possession of marijuana for resale.
